Our science-based climate commitment
Our climate targets have been officially validated by the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi).
What are science-based targets and why do they matter?
The SBTi brings together the expertise of CDP, the UN Global Compact, World Resources Institute (WRI), and WWF to help organisations worldwide translate climate science into actionable business strategies.
SBTi validation means our greenhouse gas emissions reduction targets align with the latest climate science and support the Paris Agreement’s critical goal of limiting global warming to 1.5°C. The validation process ensures our targets are not only ambitious enough to make a real impact, but also achievable within our industry context.
