We have developed a vision for Manchester Square in partnership with Baker Street Quarter Partnership and Westminster City Council to deliver a new public space in Manchester Square between the garden square and the Wallace Collection.

If implemented, this new space will improve pedestrian safety and accessibility as well as offer respite, greening and seating for residents, workers and visitors. It will celebrate the cultural and historic value of Manchester Square and the Wallace Collection as a free public institution providing access to culture through their distinguished collection and outreach programme.
The landscape was designed in line with our Wild West End value matrix and will increase the horticultural value and biodiversity of Manchester Square. A strong environmental strategy will be developed for the project that focuses on key areas such as building materials, greening, biodiversity and sustainable drainage.
In 2022, the project was paused pending decisions on Oxford Street and local cycling networks. We are working closely with project partners, the local community and key stakeholders to reimagine this space.
