FLORENCIO PIZZA ADDS TO PORTMAN MARYLEBONE’S EXCEPTIONAL SELECTION OF INDEPENDENT RESTAURANTS
The Portman Estate welcomes the arrival of new restaurant Florencio Pizza at 14 Seymour Place. Florencio, a pizzeria championing premium ingredients and seasonal produce, is the latest addition to The Portman Estate’s offering of independent restaurants, boosting its diverse food and beverage options.
Delivered by the team behind Argentine grill and Portman Marylebone favourite ZOILO, Florencio occupies 1,370 sq ft. The 35-cover restaurant utilises ground-floor and lower-floor space, with the restaurant’s bespoke pizza oven taking centre stage at the front of the restaurant. Visitors also have access to explore the restaurant’s wine cellar.
Florencio is the latest concept from Chef Patron Diego Jacquet and it joins an array of outstanding restaurants and bars on The Portman Estate.
The signing of Florencio underlines The Portman Estate’s dedication to evolving Marylebone as a neighbourhood that creates outstanding experiences for visitors, residents and workers. Developing Marylebone’s range of independent brands highlights the Estate’s ongoing commitment to promote the long-term success of the West End.
Joining Florencio is The Chuffed Store, a Christmas pop up now open at 20 Seymour Place. Open Tuesday – Sunday, The Chuffed Store showcases the craftmanship of over 50 British creators ranging from jewellers to printmakers, ceramicists and weavers. The pop up offers hand-made, expertly crafted products – the perfect spot to find truly unique and meaningful gifts. The Chuffed Store is open daily from Tuesday to Sunday 10am – 6pm and every Thursday evening until 9pm, where shoppers will enjoy intimate candlelit shopping evenings, the ultimate tonic from the usual frenzy of Christmas shopping.
Next door to The Chuffed Store is ‘Letters to Santa’, a family friendly activation supporting the street’s shops and restaurants. Children are invited to deliver their letters directly to Santa’s copper post box, located at 24 Seymour Place until 31 December.
Every letter posted offers the chance to enter a one of a kind Portman Marylebone experience, which includes a family stay at a 5 star hotel in the neighbourhood and vouchers from a number of local businesses worth over £2,000*. All entries will also receive access to exclusive offers from businesses across Portman Marylebone, redeemable in January.
